The afternoon will kick off with the inaugural 'Gurindji Walkoff from Wave Hill Commemorative Lecture' with Josie Guy and Murandoo Yanner. This will set the tone for the rest of the program and remind people of the start of national land rights movement.
Afternoon sessions after inaugural lecture:
Symposium/panels/forums commence in afternoon - will involve major Indigenous and non-Indigenous reps, with topics focussing on the Intervention; Social Justice issues; Land Rights; Human Rights; Education, Health, Employment, Youth, and Regional Development.
Evening sessions:
Will commence with an outdoor screening of historic/archival footage associated with the Walkoff, followed by performances by the Black Arm Band, which is being supported by the Fred Hollows Foundation to conduct music workshops with local children at Kalkarindji School during the week.
SATURDAY 27 AUGUST: MID-GENERATION FOCUS
Elders guided tours for visitors to Jinparrak/Old Wave Hill Station.
Art Centre official opening and art exhibition, art award presentation
Sports day at Daguragu and presentations (or may be held on Sunday TBC)
Symposia/panels/forums - Topics to be determined - Native Title; Land Rights; Sea Rights; Social Justice issues, as above.
Writers/Poets workshops and presentations
Evening - Performances by local Bands and NT musicians
Outdoor film screening - Our Generation, etc
SUNDAY 28 AUGUST: YOUTH DAY FOCUS

Pyscho Circus workshops and presentation by local children
